Ten-unit high-end townhome project in San Diego, California. 

 

Described as “San Diego’s first and only Green condo project”.

 

The podium-type building is a two-story envelope over a concrete parking garage on a steep sloped site. 

 

Of further complexity the project is located on the flight path approach to San Diego International Airport.

This necessitated designing extremely high levels of noise control and strictly reduced height limits.

 

The owner was interested in pursuing high levels of “Green-Sustainable” architecture without applying for LEED certification. 

​

Sustainable features include sustainable building components, water saving design, day lighting, LED lighting, photovoltaic solar panels and other items.
